The Awakening is back online and (hopefully) better than before!

Please update your bookmarks. I will be leaving this site up for the time being and then will replace it with a redirect to the new location.

As always: no ads, access is unlimited, and no registration is required to download files. I still have some tweaks to do here and there, as well as more files (game films mostly) and pictures to upload.

If for some reason you can't access a forum or download a file, please let me know over there - very likely I missed a permission setting.

Still moving stuff over. Most downloads are uploaded, with the exception of game films. Working on getting all the game info now (what's in the Knowledge Base and in those links under the game menus to the left).

I want to get as much of that done before opening it up. Soon...

I am in the process of creating a new site for The Awakening. Will take some time to move everything over, but it should be a better forum experience overall (working downloads, hurrah).

Downloads and Photo Album are down again. This is a PHP issue - don't know if there will be a fix.

I noticed a lot of articles in the Knowledge Base show broken links - fixing them as fast as I can.

Also added new Tech Support sections to each game forum. Will be adding tech support info from the official boards there.

(A little about me)

I haven't played Kohan since it was originally out. I got back into it when I saw it on sale on Steam. I used to belong to the Horse Clan. I was one of the original four Horsemen. I doubt anyone knew or remembered me but I was Hiro-HC. Now I go by Gig.

Anyone who has played this game will probably know that the game only supports fullscreen and 1024x786 as a single resolution, which will look really bad on modern LCD monitors.

I recently found out that there's a tool called D3DWindower v1.8.8 which lets you play older games in windowed mode. It works perfectly with Kohan
