2007 is going to be a big year for TimeGate. As you probably already know, were hard at work developing three new games, two of which (a multiplatform FPS and an ambitious MMO) are based in brand new worlds weve created
needless to say, were really excited about showing you those games and to get you talking about them. To that end, you should start noticing some changes around here, as we redesign the website and expand our community efforts to give you easier access to game information, more frequent updates and more ways to get involved in the TimeGate community.
One of our primary goals has always been to deliver awesome games that push genre boundaries. As we move forward with the unannounced games, we want to push the boundaries of fan support, too. Well be increasing our involvement on the message boards, answering questions about game features, news, screenshots and anything else we release. Well start hosting polls and surveys that will help us get a better idea of what you really want to see in TimeGates upcoming games; after all, youre the ones buying the games, so we hope were making games that inspire, challenge and engage you.
Well also start giving you more insight into what its like to work at TimeGate, with developer profiles, articles about how to break into the game industry, a team blog chronicling milestones in our games development, contests and more. In essence, we want to give as much as we can back to the fans who have supported us over the years. The transition should be pretty smooth well roll out new website features on a pretty regular schedule, and well occasionally look to you to decide what sort of functionality youd like to see.
As I said before, were ridiculously excited about the games were developing and we cant wait to show you the work weve done. For now, we encourage you to talk it up on the forums
and invite your friends! Neither you nor your friends will be disappointed with what weve got cooking.
