I worked on a new campaign last year on and off for months and compiled it last August. Naturally I've found some problems since then, so recently I dusted off and improved it and I want to compile it again. No matter what I do, however, it won't work.
As I've posted to the
official boards, kohan_campaign.exe fails to compile my campaign (or any campaign, including the same one). I always get the same error. It states the specs correctly as I have entered them, starts building the campaign, and then says the .ini file is not found (even though all of them are where they are supposed to be). I've tried it on two different Vista PCs and on one XP machine, all three times with my campaign and with the sample campaign and have gotten the same error for all of them.
So, I am wondering if anybody is still able to successfully compile campaigns, and if you ran into any problems like this (and have any advice for me). At this point, I'll even take advice on how to alter my original TGX (it just needs some updated maps and the updated .ini stuck into it) or any kind offers to complie it for me.
